Send routes directly to your Garmin from the web

Find a route that you want to navigate on your Garmin device? Simply click Send to Garmin to easily transfer it to your Garmin!s2dgarminweb.png

If you have not yet set up Garmin Connect, clicking Send to Device will walk you through the steps to do so, and allow you to easily select which device you need to send your route to.

Once you've set up your Garmin Connect account with Ride with GPS, you can automatically sync routes and recorded ride data seamlessly between your Ride with GPS account and Garmin device. Simply clicking Send to Garmin or Pinning any routes will sync them automatically to your Garmin device.

 

Send routes to Garmin from the mobile app

When viewing your route in the mobile app, tap Save > Send to Device > Send to Garmin.

If you have not yet connected your Garmin Connect account, you will be prompted to authorize that now. If you've already established a connection between Ride with GPS and Garmin Connect, you'll see a message that your route has been synced.

Manage your Connected Services

You can manage your connected services at any time from our website. Simply log in to your account on the web and click your profile icon in the upper right hand corner. From there, select Settings > Connected Services to see the status of your current connected services.

Automatic Ride Sync via Garmin Connect

When connecting your Garmin Connect account with Ride with GPS, you can opt to sync your Activities recorded on your Garmin over to Ride with GPS.

Once set up, automatic ride sync via Garmin Connect is a one-way process which uploads the recorded Activity data from your device, syncs via Garmin Connect and transfers those rides directly to your Ride with GPS account.

* NOTE: once signed in, Garmin will sync all activities logged within the last 5 years to your Ride with GPS account. This process is a one-way transaction, syncing Garmin Connect > Ride with GPS only.

FAQ

  • Is there a limit to the number of routes I can sync to my Garmin device?
    • Most Garmin devices are limited to storing 100 routes total at one time. If you're having trouble syncing routes over to your Garmin, try deleting some existing routes first!
    • Some Garmin devices have an even smaller route limit:
      • Garmin Edge 130 - 15 routes
      • Garmin Edge 130 Plus - 30 routes
      • Garmin Fēnix series watches - 50 routes
      • Garmin D2 series watches - 50 routes
